A vintage 14Kt yellow gold 'Love' charm bracelet, with 5 gold charms suspended from a complex bracelet with circular and woven wirework links. The charms are variously set with seed pearls and amethyst and ruby gemstones. All but the largest charm are stamped 14K, one by Mendelsohn & Martinez, from Providence, RI. Size: 7.25 in. length. Weight: 58.5 grams. The largest square charm is gold but unmarked, with the saying 'I Love You.'

Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Moulded Dehua Qingbai Porcelain Box
This covered box was made during the 13th - 14th century, most likely at the Dehua kilns in Fujian province. Both upper and lower parts are decorated with moulded scrolling patterns. The inner and outer surfaces are coated in a very finely-crackled qingbai glaze that has just a hint of blue. The slightly concave base remains unglazed.

There is not one form of jewelry in which the Los Castillo did not excel yet I think their big, bold repousse brooches are simply above and beyond! The example I am presenting here, most probably an early creation if design numbers are indeed good indicators of when during the workshop's life a specific idea was transformed into jewelry, reflects the Egyptian Revival of the Deco period...

A 'Chaise Longue' after a design by Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand - the LC-4 model. From the Basics Le Corbusier line by Palazzetti, introduced in 1981, with attached foil label. Black leather and chrome on a black metal frame. Originally designed in 1928; this chair is about 12 years old. Excellent condition. Now considered to be a classic modern design.
Japanese scrolled painting on paper by Okutani Ichiyo, also known as Okutani Kazuyo, depicting a leafy vine with petunia flowers under the sliver of a moon. Signed Ichiyo with the red artist's seal below. Elaborate silk brocade scroll mounting with lacquer scroll ends. Early 20th century. Scroll: 75 1/2” x 12 3/4” (painting: 50 1/4” x 11 7/8”). Very good clean overall condition with only minor buckling and soiling evident.

A most beautiful Frank Patania Senior cuff offered here with 7 large nuggets of turquoise. These nuggets measure 5/8th's tall and the overall height of the cuff is 2 inches. The length of the silver is 6.25 inches and the inside diameter is 2 3/8th's inches. There is a 1in. gap as well. Silver nuggets are dispersed an each side of the stones. Masterfull hand chasing and a heft of 112 grams. A huge presence and at an auction price value.
Limited edition Japanese woodblock print by Clifton Karhu (1927-2007) titled "Winter Driveway." Pencil-signed and titled, dated '78, and numbered 19/100 in the bottom margin. Paper size: 12 1/8" x 11 7/8" (image: 9 7/8" x nearly 10"). The print was never framed and is in very good overall condition. There is possibly some faint discoloration to the paper from age. From a Tucson, Arizona collection.

A classic Gu vase of exquisite white porcelain by Miura Chikusen enclosed in the original signed double-wood box. It is 13-1/4 inches) tall, 19 cm (7-1/2 inches) diameter at the rim and in excellent condition. This type of Sinophile work was very popular throughout the Meiji and Taisho periods, and Sencha steeped tea had a profound impact on Japanese culture at the time. Filipe Martinez was well known at being the best stone cutter laying the stone next to the silver with no space in between. This is an outstanding example of such. The obsidian is a turned on sheen so strong I photographed and different light levels to help you see it in an in person sort of way. The necklace is 16 inches long 1.25 inches tall as well as the bracelet and the earrings. The bracelet is 7in. long. There is a 216 gram combined weight.
