A splendid 17-1/2" carved and lathe turned bakelite necklace c1920s-30s. This necklace consists of turned and hand-carved bakelite beads in oval, round and barrel forms; the colours include off-white, swirled tan, 2 colour pale green and brown. Most beads have variable colour layers and stripes, and the between triple disc striped spacers are all one piece. This unsigned necklace has the original brass barrel clasp and it ranges from 3/16" to 3/4" wide...

Stunning vintage 1920s cherry amber Bakelite necklace with round translucent beads hand knotted with silk thread, in a continuous strand with no clasp. Tests positive for Bakelite with Simichrome. 146 grams. The beads are all 12 millimeters. 63 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. Chic vintage French Art Deco modernist necklace with oblong Bakelite beads capped in chrome plated hemispheres, alternating with matching chrome beads and stacks of the chrome hemispheres, with French screw barrel clasp. Possibly as early as 1930s, although I have owned a 1980s Yves Saint Laurent necklace with the same stacked hemisphere design. The Bakelite beads all test positive with Simichrome, and are translucent, some with marbling...

This fabulous buckle bracelet has a white buckle 2 1/2" x 2 1/4" hinged to the lipstick 1 3/8" red band. You will notice in the pictures that there are two hinges to facilitate putting it on. The inside dimensions 2 5/16" x 2 1/4".

Vintage Bakelite necklace simulating cherry amber, with very large graduated oblong beads ranging in size from 30 mm long to 12 mm long. It weighs 62 grams. Circa 1930. It has been professionally restrung for security. Tests positive for Bakelite and guaranteed old and original. 18 1/2 inches wearable length and 7/8 inch wide. Excellent condition. Amazing vintage necklace with very big deeply carved Bakelite beads in apple juice and cherry amber color, strung on handknotted dark brown cord, with a brass spring ring clasp with a thumb catch. Circa 1935. Both the apple juice and cherry amber elements test positive for Bakelite. Guaranteed vintage and original. The center apple juice bead is 32 mm in diameter and the large cherry amber beads are 35 mm long. A stunning and unusual piece...

The heart is 2 1/4" long by 2 1/8" wide plus the berries. This brings the total length of the pin to 3 1/2" in length. As you can see in the picture the wires are showing some wear. On the right side of the heart there appears a line with white shadow showing through the red. Considering it's age it has been well loved.
