Gorgeous vintage translucent cherry amber Bakelite necklace with large 15mm beads on a continuous strand. 1930s. Tests positive for Bakelite with Simichrome. 140 grams. Fabulous long heavy 1960s or 1970s French glass based faux pearl sautoir from the same estate as the Rousselet attributed necklaces I am listing. Beige pearls with briolette faceted glass beads and small goldtone spacers. Continuous strand. 40 inches long and the large baroque pearls are 5/8 inch long. Excellent condition. This Pennino necklace has the look of diamonds and amethysts that you would find in fine jewelry in a platinum setting. However,this necklace is rhodium plated and hallmarked Pennino. It is 16 1/2" long and 3/4" wide... The swirls connecting each rosette are covered in clear rhinestones as is most of the rest of the necklace. It's gorgeous.
