Mounted in a round, beaded silver gilt setting, the amber cabochons in these cuff links exhibit with a vivid honey color and some cloudiness. They were probably produced for the tourist trade by different silversmiths in the same workshop, as each is slightly different from the other, mostly in the fins. The backs of one linked pair indicates the maker M. Velazquez; all are marked Sterling/Made in Mexico in the pre-1950s style. The back rings connect to short bridge chains; one rings is slightly bent but there is no damage or metal stress. Each fish button measures 3/4 inch...

Formed as a dollar sign, this money clip is of a high quality in terms of thickness and workmanship. It bears the mark of R. Blackinton & Co., of North Attleboro, MA. This particular mark was reportedly used 1900-1967, so the piece is dated conservatively. There is also a number, 2555 H, on the back. The clip has a warm patina, indicating some age, but very few signs of wear. There is a tiny imperfection at the bottom of the dollar sign, from either an impact of some kind or a manufacturing flaw...

Each longitudinal button is embossed with a Nordic sailing scene; there is engine-turned engraving lengthwise on the smaller buttons.
