Very nice Victorian sterling silver doubled-faced cufflinks decorated with Classical medallions in the Shiebler style. The medallions depict are Greek in style and depict and adult man and a youth in profile. The backgrounds are stippled and the edges are beveled and irregularly shaped to suggest antiquity. A wonderful pair of Modernist sterling silver cufflinks from Taxco, the center of Mexican silver jewelry production in the 20th century. The design is strongly geometric, but has an organic quality as well--almost like a leaf shape. The interiors are nicely oxidized to contrast with the appliqued silver spheres. The backs are hallmarked with the "3M" mark attributed to Miguel Melendez' output from the late 1950s and early 1960s...

A vintage pair of cufflinks, the faces constructed of banded agate carved in the shape of antique pistols. The stones are nicely matched and have attractive markings in shades of orange, caramel and cream. The silver mountings are marked “Sterling”.

Elaborate wirework is the defining feature of these distinctive cuff links, which are unmarked but test as silver. They are gilded, including the wirework, and are enhanced with maroon enamel. Formed as a dollar sign, this money clip is of a high quality in terms of thickness and workmanship. It bears the mark of R. Blackinton & Co., of North Attleboro, MA. This particular mark was reportedly used 1900-1967, so the piece is dated conservatively. There is also a number, 2555 H, on the back. The clip has a warm patina, indicating some age, but very few signs of wear. There is a tiny imperfection at the bottom of the dollar sign, from either an impact of some kind or a manufacturing flaw...
