This pretty pin combines the styles of Art Nouveau and Edwardian jewelry. We are attributing it to Whiteside & Blank, although it’s unsigned (not unusual for the time), since it’s remarkably similar to another piece by them. The pin consists of a gold framework enameled in very pale green – almost white - in a formal Edwardian key pattern. In the middle is a sprig of gold leaves with a pearl berry; the stem twines around the framework...

A 14k white gold citrene and diamond Edwardian style bar pin brooch from 1915 1920. This well designed 2-3/8 x 5/16" pin features a faceted citrene stone with an inset 4 point diamond (by gauge). It has a hand tooled foliate design and the stone is claw-set above the setting. It has the original safety clasp, it is stamped 14K on the clasp and it weighs 3.2 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs. This beautiful pendant features a circle of 6 ginkgo leaves radiating out from a diamond center, with seed pearls in between. The enamel is detailed and subtle. It is both a pendant and a brooch. The bale is on a swivel; it folds down neatly so that it’s invisible when worn as a brooch. Unmarked but tested 14k rose gold, about 33 pearls, and an approximately .02 full cut old diamond, very slightly chipped (not visible without magnification)...

A sophisticated 18K gold necklace, the baton links enhanced with black and white en plein enamel. The batons are separated by seed pearls that reappear as a band across the middle of the teardrop-shaped onyx pendant. The pendant hangs from the clasp, so the necklace can be worn alone or with the pendant. Both the clasp and the mounting of the pendant are stamped with French 18K hallmarks and an unidentified maker’s mark.

An Edwardian 9k pearl and paste stones brooch circa 1900 - 1910. This antique 1" across yellow gold pin has a 5.7 mm genuine pearl in the center. The pearl has a nice cream-color lustre, and the four surrounding stones are synthetic emeralds (or green paste) and the rest are clear paste (or possibly white sapphires - all of these open-back stones are untested)...

Shell cameo brooch with high relief carved woman surrounded 10K thick gold frame. Back is marked 10K with illegible initials. Condition is very good with slight bending in pin. May be worn as pendant or pin. Probably early 20th C. Dimension: 1 7/8" approx

Detailed 14k yellow gold sailing ship framed by 4 peridot stones measuring approximately .40 carats total weight. It measures 1.25" in diameter and the overall weight is 7.4 grams. It is very three-dimensional and in great condition; probably dating to about 1910.

This 14K bar pin has 24 seed pearls and a pink stone which I believe is topaz. It is 1 1/4" long and 1'/2" wide . It is very pretty.

Made in Chester, England in 1901 and fully hallmarked, this 18k yellow gold ring is the perfect symbol of fidelity. It is very comfortable to wear. It measures approximately 7.3 mm wide, and the buckle detail stretches 17 mm long across the top. It has an intricate milgrain detail around the edge and a three-dimensional buckle detail. The ring is a size 8 and in excellent condition.

This lovely garland or festoon necklace is from the Edwardian end of the Art Nouveau movement. It is pictured in Vivienne Becker’s excellent book “Art Nouveau Jewelry” on page 185. She describes it as having “festoons of gold chain in the Edwardian manner, set with peridots, and decorated with shaded satin enamel, c. 1900.” It is unmarked, but tests as 14k gold...

A 14k diamond and two opals row ring circa 1890 1900. This antique size 3-3/4 or 3.75 yellow gold ring features a central 10 point (by gauge) antique brilliant cut diamond flanked by two similar size opal cabochon gems. The diamond has a lovely clarity, and the opals have blue coloration with orange flash. The setting measures 7/16 x 1/8", it is faintly stamped 14K KENTS (a Canadian jewellery chain) and it weighs 2.2 grams...

A delicate Edwardian 14K yellow gold bangle bracelet set with square cut amethysts and pearls. The gemstones are separated by openwork gold in an interlaced heart pattern that lends a very lacy quality The use of amethyst is somewhat uncommon in a bangle from this period. The interior bears the 14K gold mark for Alling & Co.
