An extremely rare French 18K gold stick pin, the head set with reverse-carved Essex crystal depicting the historic first airplane crossing of the English Channel by Louis Bleriot in 1909. Transportation-themed Essex crystal jewelry is very rare, but those clearly linked to a specific vehicle or event are truly exceptional. The colors of the painting are vibrant and there is no sign of moisture damage. The pinstem is stamped with French 18K hallmarks.

This is one of our very favorite rings. Fifteen extremely rare Cat's-Eye Chrysoberyl cabochons set in a line between .30cttw of single cut diamonds. The bottom portion of the bangle is entirely hand engraved with a scroll-work pattern. It is stamped "18k" on the inside. The clasp is very secure with a safety latch and a safety chain. The bracelet fits a 6.75" wrist and is in excellent antique condition. The overall weight is 22.1g and it most likely dates to around 1900.

A fine 14K yellow gold locket, the front cover decorated with deep translucent guilloche enamel over an engine-turned background surrounded by a reeded border enameled in opaque white. The front is centered with an old mine cut diamond. The trefoil-shaped bail is an especially nice touch. The interior retains the original frame insert. This is a beautiful Alpha Xi Delta sorority pin with 15 graduated peals. It is engraved M. Mullingeaux 1/25/25. This is a national sorority / fraternity founded in 1893 at Lombard College. Their motto is " the pen is mightier than the sword." This pin tests 14K but is not hallmarked.
