Very large hand made sterling belt buckle by Kerr, c.1900. Of good size and weight, it measures 4 1/8" wide by 2 1/4" high and is curved to easily accept cloth or soft leather pulled through. A classic Pforzheim school silver Jugendstil brooch decorated with plique-a-jour enamels, moldavite and seed pearls. The translucent enamels have the velvety texture and very subtle coloring typical of many Pforzheim jewels of the period. The reverse is marked "Depose 900" and has the maker's mark for Karl Hermann (Hermann & Speck), one of the leading German Art Nouveau jewelers.

Origin: Germany, ca. 1900. Condition: very good, some light crazing to enamel, but no unstable or missing pieces...

Period art nouveau dimensional sterling clip showing the beautiful profile of a woman's head with flowing hair and flowers. Small, it measures 3/4"long by 1/2"wide. The front of the clip with the art nouveau design and the clip mechanism itself are in excellent condition but there is a a few scratches on the back on the word "STERLING"(see photo). A lovely silver, plique-a-jour enamel, mother-of-pearl, and paste pendant in the German Art Jugendstil or Nouveau taste. The pendant is worked with very attractive enameled cells in shades of teal, cream and rose. German Art Nouveau pieces from the Pforzheim school tend to be more linear and symmetrical than those from France, and this piece is a classic example...

This beautiful old miniature depicts a lovely lady, hand painted, in an asymmetrical frame set with seed pearls. It is a watch pin, meaning that there is a hook on the back (invisible from the front) for hanging a dainty watch or some other dangle – or not, if you don’t wish it. It measures 1-3/8 x 1-1/4”. It is unmarked, but has a French/Art Nouveau flavor, and tests 90-100% silver...

A lovely Art Nouveau pendant worked in silver and 10K yellow gold. The pendant consists of an openwork triangular silver plaque with a pair of plique-a-jour enameled mistletoe leaves below a band of opals and above a band of brilliant green moldavites, themselves over a square-cut pink tourmaline suspending a semi-baroque pearl drop. The whole is suspended from a round brilliant cut pink tourmaline set in gold. The combination of colored gemstones is lovely and nicely accents the enamel...

Two-piece sterling buckle with woman's head & hair made by UNGER BROTHERS, Newark, c.1905. Each piece measures approx. 1 1/2" wide by 1 3/8" high and the total width is 2 7/8". Woman has period art nouveau face, hair, and a rose set in the hair. Signed "UB STERLING 925 FINE" but is a bit hard to read. Handmade and repouseed. This impressive sterling silver pin features a decoration of detailed engraved flowers and latticework. It was made by the LaPierre Mfg. Co. of Newark, NJ, and New York City, and bears the maker’s mark on the back, as well as the sterling mark. It has a very secure C-clasp and tube hinge typical of the period. The brooch measures 2 7/8 inches by 2 3/8 inches.

Has a Victorian/art nouveau figure of a winged draped nude female figure at the top of the curved dagger with "ER" script initials. Signed "STERLING S/wings(for Shiebler) 4292" and measures 4" long. This brooch features an ancient Celtic design: two birds (probably swans) with enameled wings, bodies and eyes, with interlaced silver above and below. The enamel is in red, blue, green, and white. It is marked 925 for sterling silver, and has several other marks which are illegible. 1-1/2” X 1-1/4”. There are a couple places where the enamel isn’t quite perfect – please see photos...

Bliss" Co mark which later became the Napier Co. This hefty 1 oz, 2 7/8 X 1 5/8" Sash Buckle Ornament Pin Brooch was once silver plated and now shows traces of that in the mid open cut work section while the rest is a rich brass.
