Recycling isn't a new idea! This charming pin was made with an Art Nouveau era button. The detail of the lady, the flowers, and the bow is wonderful. The pin is 1" X 1/2"; the button is 1/2" in diameter. Circa 1900.

This beautiful pair of scarab design cufflinks is marked for Unger Bros, a well-known turn-of-the-century American jewelry maker. Each beetle or scarab is 1/2" by 13/16". They are made of sterling silver. Circa 1900-1905.

A beautiful set of 6 Art Nouveau studs or buttons, each with a bas relief image of a woman playing a lyre. They bear the hallmarks for Birmingham sterling silver, 1907, and the maker's initials, "R & W". Accompanying the buttons are the sterling silver cross pins that go through the rear loop. All these are housed in the original leather case with velvet lining.

The buttons are 5/8" in diameter, and in excellent condition. There is one cross pin missing...

This beautiful old miniature depicts a lovely lady, hand painted, in an asymmetrical frame set with seed pearls. It is a watch pin, meaning that there is a hook on the back (invisible from the front) for hanging a dainty watch or some other dangle – or not, if you don’t wish it. It measures 1-3/8 x 1-1/4”. Figural sterling letter opener, by George Shiebler, Brooklyn,NY, c.1895. Has a Victorian/art nouveau figure of a winged draped nude female figure at the top of the curved dagger with "ER" script initials. Signed "STERLING S/wings(for Shiebler) 4292" and measures 4" long. This impressive sterling silver pin features a decoration of detailed engraved flowers and latticework. It was made by the LaPierre Mfg. Co. of Newark, NJ, and New York City, and bears the maker’s mark on the back, as well as the sterling mark. It has a very secure C-clasp and tube hinge typical of the period. The brooch measures 2 7/8 inches by 2 3/8 inches.

This is an ART NOUVEAU PIN with a LADY SEATED on what looks like a Bench in a Park or in a Naturalistic Setting. Size is 1 1/4" square at the longest. Marked on the back: STERLING FRONT; also note the Cutout STAR probably a maker's logo. This Pin has the OLD C CLASP which further helps to date this piece circa 1900 to 1915. These beautiful sterling silver cufflinks are marked for Unger Bros and sterling. The flower-patterned ovals are linked by chain and are the epitome of Art Nouveau. One oval, darn it, is a plain replacement. Each oval is 7/8" x 3/4". Circa 1910.

An elegant Art Nouveau silver brooch depicting a maiden smelling a rose. She is surrounded in a bower of climbing roses and enclosed in a frame of whiplash curves typical of French Art Nouveau. The clasp is marked for silver and bears the maker's mark of Fernand Boursot, who opened shop in Paris in 1894. THe brooch could be converted to a pendant with the addition of a bail at the top or a pair of bails and a split chain at the upper corners.

This lovely enameled pansy, originally a screwback earring, has been converted to a colorful ring with the addition of sterling silver shank. The pansy is enameled in bright shades of purple and yellow. The enamel has a slight iridescent effect and is translucent so the engraved silver shines through for added texture.
