An early Skonvirke 826 silver brooch with a moth motif. Signed on the back with what looks like stylized HKC in a shield and 826 S for the silver standard. Most probably from Denmark. 826 was the silver standard used in Denmark at the time.

Measures 1" in diameter. Has an older 'C' clasp which holds securely. May have had a repair to the hinge at some point.

Fine condition, warm patina. Wonderfully crafted. Classic Arts and Crafts design.

A vintage hand wrought sterling silver necklace comprised of graduated circular links ending with two oval bezel set brown iridescent cabochons, maybe Tiger's Eye.

The necklace measures 23" long. Has a secure hook closure. The drops in the center are 3 1/2" long. The cabochons are 1" long and 3/4" across.

Signed on the back of each drop, Handwrought, Sterling and M. H. R. for the artisan.

Well made. Pretty glistening stones.

A vintage hand wrought sterling silver brooch with an Arts and Crafts feel by the well known Boston silversmith, Ella Cone, comprised of overlapping leaves and scrolls attached to a thick sterling wire.

Measures 3" long and 2 1/2" high. Roll over clasp holds securely. Marked Sterling, Hand ELC Made on the back. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches.

Well made, fine quality.

A sterling silver necklace in an Arts and Crafts Celtic design.

The necklace is not marked, but the clasp is marked 925 for sterling and also has a tiny mark, maybe a stylized 'S' that we can't identify.

Central pendant measures 2 1/8" across and 2 1/4" high including the dangle. Necklace measures 17 1/2" long. Has a spring clasp that holds securely.

Warm patina, quality piece.

A nicely cast sterling silver band of nautilus shells surrounds an oval, semi-translucent piece of gorgeous carnelian in this Arts and Crafts brooch presented here. I have had this piece for a little while and was reluctant to part with it because of its tactile beauty, its warm patina and the color of the stone that brings to mind warm, aromatic caramel. This pretty navette-shaped pin is from the Arts & Crafts era. It measures 2-1/8 x 7/16”. It has a leaf and berry motif, centered by a deep purple amethyst. (Amethysts are thought to bring calmness and clarity to the mind.) It is marked STERLING, and the pin-stem assembly is original. The silver has a nice patina. In excellent condition, and circa 1900. A vintage sterling silver hammered money clip made by the Gaylord Silvercraft in Wallingford, CT. The Gaylord Farm Sanitarium was active from 1923-1944 and was organized by William Waldo Dodge.

Measures about 2 3/8" long and 1" wide. Marked Sterling, Hand Wrought and with an impressed upright hammer flanked by two wings for the maker. It currently has a 'G' monogram, but could probably be buffed out.

Fine work, quality piece.

An Arts and Crafts style sterling silver pendant necklace with an intricate etched design and a bezel set dark purple cabochon, (maybe Amethyst). The bezel is gold colored and may be 14K but untested.

Marked Sterling and with a hallmark of intertwined symbols on the back of the pendant.

The pendant measures 1 1/2" long and 1" across the top. The pendant is folded over for a three dimensional effect. Currently suspended from a chain that is 16" long...

Necklace: 6 petal drop is 1", the chain is 16.5"+.

Mystery mark reward below. This seahorse motif Arts Crafts or Modernist pin brooch is as found unpolished unmarked for silver content (yet tests at least 90%) is stamped with silversmith's mark of superimposed CW or WC.
The chased seahorse, coral and other sea life motifs appear to be applied on to a slightly convex 55mm (2 1/8") round
Weighs approx 18 grams. Safety clasp. Still unpolished and tests at least 90% yet may be higher than sterling...
