Completely handmade, this sterling silver pin is formed similar to a stylized sprig of lily-of-the-valley. It also bears an engraved inscription on the back that reads: “Anna F. Davies/The College Settlement of Philadelphia/1898-1941.” Davies was a founder of the settlement movement, and ran this settlement house during those years. Formed as a delicate spray of three flowers, this Coro sterling silver pin has an unusual design, unlike much of the company’s Sterling Craft line. Vintage unsigned unmarked yet tested sterling silver Mission style bail holding an odd faceted light as a feather amber pendant on newer 21" sterling chain.
The amber piece is Just under 2 1/2" X 1 1/8 @ widest while the large bench made bail adds another 3/8". This is an old piece as evidenced by some teenie semi circular drill marks at the drilled areas that old organic pieces often get from age and arid conditions. Priced Accordingly.
