Arts & crafts handmade period silver and moonstones dagger pin, c.1910. Quite LARGE and made of very heavy gauge silver, it measures 4" LONG and the dagger can be removed from the sheath. The silver work is very decorative and intricate. The sheath and the dagger each have pin backs and be worn open(in two pieces) or closed(as one). A vintage hand wrought sterling silver brooch with an Arts and Crafts feel by the well known Boston silversmith, Ella Cone, comprised of overlapping leaves and scrolls attached to a thick sterling wire.

Measures 3" long and 2 1/2" high. Roll over clasp holds securely. Marked Sterling, Hand ELC Made on the back. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches.

A sterling silver necklace in an Arts and Crafts Celtic design.

The necklace is not marked, but the clasp is marked 925 for sterling and also has a tiny mark, maybe a stylized 'S' that we can't identify.

Central pendant measures 2 1/8" across and 2 1/4" high including the dangle. Necklace measures 17 1/2" long. Has a spring clasp that holds securely.

Warm patina, quality piece.

Rare offering:Coveted aesthetic movement flora and fauna theme showing sterling dimensional beetle on a leaf pin, by George Shiebler, New York, 1880. This beautiful piece has a slight gold wash on the leaf highlighting the silver beetle and measures 2 1/4" wide by 2 1/8" wide. It is signed "Shiebler mark STERLING 1416" with original Shiebler locking device. An antique pin with a modern vibe. This charming Arts & Crafts is made of sterling silver that has been enameled in artfully shaded blue to chartreuse to look like the wings of a stylized moth. A mother-of-pearl oval centers the body, and there is a small faceted green 'stone' (possibly glass) at the head. The pin is 1 ½ by 3/4 inches in size, not including the small spherical dropper which is enameled in a rich blue. The pin is circa 1900.

These late arts and crafts sterling silver earrings are handwrought and formed as oak leaves with a ‘berry’ at the base. They were made by Albino Manca (1896-1976), an Italian sculptor and metalsmith who lived and worked in both Italy and New York. (There is a statue by him in New York’s Battery Park). The earrings have very secure clip backs, and the mark of A. Manca Sterling is found on the back of one earring. They each measure 1 inch long by 1 inch wide. Gross weight:7.8 grams total

Formed as square panels with rounded corners, featuring an incised seaweed-like design enhanced by oxidation. The design is called "Pine Needle." The earrings have the original screw backs, which are in good working order. It is marked sterling and has Skinger’s script signature. Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. Each earring measures 3/4 inch square. Weight: 6.6 grams

This simple handmade sterling silver pin features a golf club applied to a rectangular panel; a 1941 penny is set from the back within a horseshoe-shaped frame. Two beads at the ends of the setting prevent the penny from falling out. The back bears the sterling mark and the unidentified maker’s initials of KLE. It measures 1 5/8 inches long by 1 inch wide.

This pretty navette-shaped pin is from the Arts & Crafts era. It measures 2-1/8 x 7/16”. It has a leaf and berry motif, centered by a deep purple amethyst. (Amethysts are thought to bring calmness and clarity to the mind.) It is marked STERLING, and the pin-stem assembly is original. The silver has a nice patina. In excellent condition, and circa 1900. This is one of our very favorite pieces: a striking Jugendstil (Germany and Austria’s Arts & Crafts) pendant which is enameled in white and purple.
