This elegant silver box was handcrafted in Mexico City during the 1940's. It measures 8"L X 3 1/2W " X 1" high & weighs 1 lb. 5 Oz. The subtle scallop design is worked into thick silver on all sides. The wood lined interior creates 3 compartments. Both wood and silver are in beautiful condition. Hallmarked for SANBORNS on the underside. Finely detailed, this vintage 1940's Los Castillo brooch measures 3 1/4" H. X 2 1/2" & weighs 45 grams. Both pinback and safety catch are in perfect working order. We have a bracelet of large dimensions at 2.25in. tall and weighing in at 150.00 grams. Marked only Sterling and then also Taxco with a push pin closure. The diameter of the bracelet is 2.5in. and fits most. The panels are divided up with a decorative motif of a caviar bead wrapped in rope and bead work up and down the height of the bracelet. This looks fantastic with Aguilar and Spratling designs. No damage and a patina that was almost black when received...
This Margot De Taxco Sterling Silver Bracelet is perfect for any occasion! The bracelet is 7.5 inches long with a 105 gram weight. Links are curved and lay beautifully on the wrist. The center domes are repousse while the swirls are hand carved solid and thick silver. It is wide and will impress. This pre-1948 necklace from Doris Silver measures 17 1/2" long. I have not seen this design before, and it is really beautiful. Looks amazing on, and very flattering. The three flowers each measure 1 5/8" x 2 3/16" and have a turquoise cabochon at the center. Signed and hallmarked Doris Silver Corpus Artisans Mexico. Weight is 51.6 grams. This playful pair of bracelets were designed and handwrought during Hubert Harmon's short time in Taxco, Mexico in the 1940's. Each bracelet measures 7" long and 3/4" wide. The pair weighs 32 grams. Each fish is finely detailed and measures 1 1/2" long. The amethyst cabs are bezel set but not backed allowing light to sparkle though as they move on the wrist. Beautiful condition. Clasps are tight and secure. Both bracelets are hallmarked Sterling, HUBERT HARMON, Made in Mexico.
