This is a very rare bracelet from Los Castillo, executed in 980 silver. One of their earliest pieces before they added design numbers with their hallmark. At the center is a huge gorgeous amethyst cabochon, bezel set and surrounded by tiny beading. Hallmarks date this very rare Hubert Harmon pin 1942-1944. This is a huge piece, measuring 4 1/4" top to bottom and a width of 1 1/2". At front and center is a huge carved face. The winged ears and turban have exquisite repoussé silver work, with amethyst cabochons for earrings, on the turban, and on the dangling necklace - which swings freely in front. The face is smooth to the touch, with internal inclusions but no chips or cracks. Weight is 53.4 grams...

This is a gorgeous cuff produced by Los Castillo, with deeply chased swirling lines, oxidized recesses, and a beautiful patina. Signed and hallmarked Los Castillo Taxco, with the eagle assay 15 and design # 110. Weight is 58.9 grams. Edge to edge measures 5 5/8", with an additional opening/gap of 1 3/8". This will fit a larger wrist, but can be gently adjusted to size by a professional jeweler. In excellent vintage condition. Circa 1950's.

Circa mid-century, this is a seldom seen design from Margot de Taxco. The original drawing is shown in "Margot Van Voorhies : The Art of Mexican Enamelwork", and is called "Intricate Knot". This Fred Davis is properly signed and 15.5 inches long and will catch your eye when walking by. The amethyst stones are berry colored and bright. Even harder to find are nice well formed bezels. The necklace makes a presence with a height of 1 inch. There is no damage or repairs. I will include a safety chain if you prefer to wear it longer. This pre-1960 Matl Matilde Poulat necklace is absolutely magnificent. Collector quality, with beautiful birds, a large turquoise egg, branch coral, and turquoise and coral cabochons, this piece has a huge presence. Measures a closed, wearable length of just over 20". Circa mid-century, these earrings produced by Hector Aguilar are rarely seen. Each earrings has five turquoise cabochons with tiny silver beading and silver loops. They remind me of baskets of turquoise flowers with handles. They are in excellent vintage condition and are collector quality. They measure 13/16" x 11/16". Weight is 11.8 grams. Circa mid-century, this belt buckle is collector quality. It's a huge and heavy piece produced by Antonio Pineda, using his "Lascaux" design. Referred to as Lascaux because it is thought that he was inspired from the ancient cave drawings of Lascaux, France. Pineda had a series of pieces with this design, including pendant necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and pin. I've not had this particular buckle before, but it is spectacular. Today I have a Salvador Teran Mexican Silver bracelet that is rarely seen. Each link is built like a shadow box encasing two amethyst cabochons. It has great dimension and creates a strong presence. The links at the tallest is one inch tall and the length is 7in. There is a weight of 83 grams giving the bracelet a very nice heft to the feel. The patina is natural. The safety chain was detached for photography purposes and will be attached when sold. There is no damage to the silver or stones...

Matilde Poulat signed her pieces with the hallmark Matl as this one is and it is an early mark. In the design we have her iconic birds and jeweled in the center with a gem quality amethyst representing a flower. There is a natural dark patina that has grown evenly over time. Circa mid-century, this is a spectacular set of bracelet and earrings from Sigi Pineda. Bracelet can be worn by either a man or woman. The bracelet features a huge and gorgeous gold sheen obsidian stone, which measures just over 1 3/8" square. The stone was cut so that ribbons of gold sheen run on the diagonal.
