This Los Castillo design 262 is an early one created when Margot Van Voorhies was married to Don Antonio Castillo. I believe these early pieces are the very best of her work. Stunning in size with an almost 2 inches of height and a weight of 84 grams of almost pure 980 silver. The condition reflects no damage and also well cared for over time. The diameter is 2.25 inches with the gap set at 1in. This can be professionally adjusted for most to fit. One of the best from the Spratling Era.

Being offered is an exceedingly rare circa 1940 sterling silver bracelet by Fred Davis of Taxco, Mexico. Early piece by one of the pioneers of the premiere Taxco Silver ateliers. Handwrought panels featuring alternating tribal masks and triangular panels with oxidized detail; supported by incised links. Dimensions: 7” size, panels are 3/4" wide. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition.

We have a bracelet of large dimensions at 2.25in. tall and weighing in at 150.00 grams. Marked only Sterling and then also Taxco with a push pin closure. The diameter of the bracelet is 2.5in. and fits most. The panels are divided up with a decorative motif of a caviar bead wrapped in rope and bead work up and down the height of the bracelet. This looks fantastic with Aguilar and Spratling designs. No damage and a patina that was almost black when received...

There is a 10in span of 3 drops and 2 additional links connected to chain and a thick silver hook. The necklace has a wearable length of 17in. Each drop is a dramatic 2.5in. long and the silver to the links is also thick and made with precision repousse. With a hallmark of STERLING MEXICO and no dents or damage anywhere we have a very smart presence to enjoy. The weight is 52 grams which is heavy considering the 7 inches of chain. A versatile piece just, LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Very rare Hector Aguilar bracelet that measures 1.25 in. tall and 7 in. long. The pyramids have a measurement of 10 mm. in height giving the bracelet great dimension. 87 grams is the weight and the patina is natural and gorgeous. The condition is without repairs and damage. It seriously appears to have hardly been worn. I do not like to use the word rare as all of these treasure made by the top tier Maestros are rare but this one deserves that title. An excellent example and collector quality.

This impressive Mexican silver link bracelet, probably made for the tourist trade, has a distinctive and quite unusual design. It is composed of gilded silver and green glass cabochons to imitate jade. The four linked panels are large openwork rosettes, applied to embossed floral frames. The links are well soldered; one is slightly separated but still secure. The glass cabochons show no wear...

We are offering a very old, Mexican Silver carved amethyst necklace crafted with heavy repousse. The center stone drop is larger at 2in. x 1.75in. and is also smoother to the touch. The smaller carvings are sharper edged and have a more clear iridescence. All stones are original to this necklace as you can see they were made to fill an exact space and no bezels have been disturbed. The weight is 60 grams heavy and there are no chips or dents to this work of art...

This is the Hector Aguilar "Book and Bead" bracelet in 940 silver, c.1940. It is featured in all of the Mexican Silver books. It measures 7" around in the inside and is 5/8" wide. It is in fine original condition, has a pin closure and weighs 93 grams. Signed as shown. Classic Hector Aguilar.

Beautifully stamped with ornamentation in the Native American / Southwestern style and centered by a rich blue turquoise stone with warm dark brown matrix the cuff is, of course, also ideal for those of us out there with very small wrists...

This Los Castillo early hallmarked necklace was designed by Margot Van Voorhies when wed to Antonio Castillo. Together they started the shop Los Castillo. The weight is 239 grams being hand made balls in the centers and hand chased swirls to the tops. The end piece of the swirl is repousse giving it a unique depth to the design...

We are offering a necklace marked Silver Mexico and it weighs 60 grams of heavy repousse. There are 12 onyx cabochons and all the bezels are well built which certainly indicates a higher quality workmanship. The height is just under one inch. There are no chips, dents or repairs on this treasure. There is a dark natural patina that I have not touched. The S links are often associated with Matl, Matilde Poulat's work and they do give this necklace a very special appeal...

William Spratling's Mexican Silver locket which is 2in. long including the loop for a chain, 1.25 in. deep and 1in. across is featured in todays listing. The stones have striations front and back as most from this era of the Mexican Silver Renaissance do. This example is much better than most found. You can see that some rise to the top but the stones are stable and none go all the way thru or across the amethyst stone...

Measures approximately 7 7/8 " long and 1 1/8" wide. In very nice condition, has some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling. Has a box clasp that snaps securely. The craftsmanship and construction on this bracelet point to Fred Davis' work. Pre Eagle, (1948). Looks great on!
