Handmade sterling and cultured pearls ring, c. 1950's. The modernist silver design has 5 cultured pearls on the top and on the bottom of varied sizes. A lightly hammered sterling silver bangle bracelet signed by the artist, Walter Tofel of Bennington, Vermont. Tofel was the manager at the Ed Levin store in Bennington in 1970 where he learned his craft. He began making his own jewelry designs which he sold at craft fairs and later out of his home.

This bracelet has lightly hammered curved sides and flatten areas. It is oval so can easily be slipped on and off.

Sterling ring by deceased modernist jeweler, Jo Catanzaro, Buffalo, NY, who died in 2004 in her 80's. Handmade with oxydized and shiny silver elements. Front irregular circle measures 7/8" in diameter, band is 1/4" wide and is size 7 1/2. Signed "JO CATANZARO"(on band) and "CATANZARO" on underside of front. Excellent condition. This ring is part of a large collection that came from her studio after her death. Some of the pieces are unfinished and unsigned...

This bold and intricate ring is the work of Hans Teppich, an Israeli silversmith who was especially active in Jerusalem during the 1950s. Flattened sterling silver wirework curls around an oval cabochon chrysoprase, which is securely bezel-mounted. The stone bears no scratches or other signs of wear. The band is well wrought and strong. The ring top is large, measuring 1 1/8 inches long by 1 inch wide. The Teppich and sterling marks are inside the band. The ring is sized to a little over a 5.

Large, hand made sterling, azurite, turquoises modernist necklace, c.1960's. Center triangular pendant measures 3" and has 4 hanging moveable extensions each measuring 2 3/4" below the pendant. Made of interlocking solid box links, this sterling silver chain has a sturdy feel and appears to have been hand-assembled. It has a novel W-shaped clasp. It is unmarked, but tests as sterling silver. The links are well designed and have a smooth, snake-like movement. The chain measures 26 ½ inches long, unclasped. This sturdy cuff bracelet features a ribbed design that runs horizontally along the entire piece. It has kept its shape and has a soft, warm patina from age. A few very minor scratches, hardly noticeable without magnification. The inside is marked sterling; there is no maker’s mark. While it has a Mexican feel, it is probably American-made. The cuff has a graduated width, measuring 1 3/8 inches at its widest area; the inside circumference measures 6 5/6 inches. Weight: 38.9 grams

Early sterling silver SB earrings attached to a card that reads: Original Jewelry by Frances H. Boothby, then Art Shop Munson - Williams - Proctor Institute, then Utica, New York without a zip code making this pre 1960's.
The original box also has the Art Shop info sticker. The mark of "fhb" could be under the screw back findings which are marked Sterling and are identical to others on FHB earrings...

Very modern mid century pin earrings set stamped and signed STERLING REBAJES on the pin only as the moderne screwback earrings are just stamped Sterling on the turn wheels.
Rebajes' foreman was Otto R Bade and also made these in the same mid century modern style. This pair however, is made and marked by the former.
The pin is 2 5/8 X 1 1/2", the ears are 1". 1/2 Oz or 16 Grams...

A modernist pair of sterling silver screw back earrings by Charles H. Cole, born 1908 and active 1930s-50s. He signed his work with a face hallmark. The facial features spell out his last name. Also signed Sterling and ©. Screw backs are also marked sterling.

Measure about 1 1/8" long and 5/8" at the widest.

Hand made, you can see very light hammering. They are in a floral design with cascading tendrils. Screw backs hold securely. Fine condition, from a talented silversmith.

An interesting pair of Sterling Silver artist made dangle clip earrings with 18K gold detailing. There are alternating cubes of sterling and flag shaped dangles. The dangles have 18K gold on the front.

Measure 1 7/8" long and 7/8" at the widest. Clips hold securely. Marked Sterling and 18K on the back of dangles. Also signed by the artist with what looks like 'Ruth Goodman'. The back of the clips are signed sterling.
