Amazing pendant / brooch by Michigan silversmith John Pagacz, circa 1950s. In sterling silver with three cultured pearls. The two darkened areas in the center are recessed, oxidized to create the patina, and hand detailed with a pattern. The workmanship in Pagacz's work is truly amazing. Unsigned. Has both a loop for a chain, and a pin mechanism so that the piece can be worn as a brooch. Measures a large 2.25" x 1.5. Excellent vintage conditon.

An outstanding vintage modernist sterling silver necklace and earrings by studio jeweler, Fridl Blumenthal. Signed with her Tulip mark on the necklace and FRIDL, Sterling, Tulip, and the number 32 on each earring. The findings on the earrings are also marked sterling. Heavy sterling silver with sterling overlay on niello. Necklace measures approximately 14" around and the 'pendant' is 1" wide. Earrings measure 1 1/4" long and 3/4" across. A sterling silver hand wrought necklace with a central fringe of molten, drippy dangles by the mid century modernist studio jeweler, Ruth Berridge, (1921-2004). The necklace measures about 17 1/4" long, and the longest drop is 1 1/2". Marked Berridge in three places on the back of the drops. There are two hooks on the snake chain that hold securely. Fine condition. This piece is from her estate. Amazing work from a gifted artist.
