This mid-century, handmade pendant is decorated with an applied pinwheel motif. The chain is sturdy and has a secure spring-ring clasp; it is original to the piece. The pendant is marked sterling on the back and is nicely oxidized for a dramatic effect. Clasped, the entire necklace measures 13 ½ inches long. Weight: 40.5 grams

Made by JO CATANZARO, deceased modernist jeweler from Buffalo NY, c.1950's. This piece is part of the collection that was purchased from her studio after her death in 2004. Measures 2 7/8" by 2". Rare sterling cuff by modernist Caroline Gleick Rosene, San Francisco, c.1951. It is very difficult to find this silversmith's work. Signed "ROSENE HAND MADE STERLING" and is in excellent condition except for a missing small silver ring that is easily replaceable. Made of heavy gauge silver, it is 1 1/4" wide and is 7 1/2" inside circumference.
