A rare brooch and earrings set by noted Sausalito Mid 20th century jeweler, Loyola Fourtane. She and her husband were jewelers and artists and worked from their houseboat in Sausalito, California from the 1930's -50's.
This set is made of sterling silver with copper and brass embellishments and what look like carnelian cabochons.
Brooch measures 2 1/2" across and 2 1/4" high. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely...
Sterling bangle by California silversmith, Allan Adler, c.1960's. Handmade and of heavy gauge silver, it measures 2 3/8" diameter and is 3/4" wide. This very substantial piece has a decorative braiding on each side of the sheet silver. It is signed "ALLAN ADLER STERLING" and is in excellent condition. Each earring is composed of two trapezoidal pieces linked by a squared U-shaped wire. The screw backs are original and in good working order. The backs indicate sterling and bear the mark of modernist designer Paul Lobel. The earrings show very few signs of wear. They measure 1 ¾ inches long by 1/2 inch at the widest part. Weight: 7.6 grams total
This great biomorphic brooch / pin measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" by 1/2". Its modernist design displays a wonderful, Scandinavian motif. It is marked DANECRAFT STERLING. It is in great condition. circa 1950's

A vintage modernist sterling silver heavy brooch consisting of three intertwined circles by noted Mid Century jeweler, Bill Tendler. Measures 2 1/8" across. Marked TENDLER Sterling. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Nice contrast of dark and light and thick and thin sterling. Well crafted, quality piece.
A great pair of screw back sterling silver Mask earrings by listed artist and sculptor, Charles Val Clear. Signed Charles Val and Sterling. Screw backs are also marked sterling. Measure 1 1/2" long and 1/2" across. Have a nice contrasting patina for a cool effect. Screw backs hold tightly. Very Mid Century.

A modernist brooch by noted mid century silversmith, Frances Holmes Boothby in Sterling Silver and Ebony. This large marlin measures 3 3/4" long and 1 1/2" tall. Lightly hammered. Marked fhb, Sterling on the back. Has a safety rollover clasp that holds tightly. Nice condition, just a few minor scratches and a little tarnish. A wonderful example of Mid Century Modern jewelry.
