These are a fabulous pair of vintage sterling handmade one of a kind earrings by Israeli Modernist designer Rachel Gera. Three dimensional with discs of both brushed and smooth silver, the effect is quite textural. Hanging 3" long and 1 1/2" wide, they have posts for pierced ears and weigh 29grams total. They are in fine original condition and signed as shown. You will definitely be noticed in these for all the right reasons. Born in 1936, Rachel Gera passed away in February of this year...
Early sterling silver SB earrings attached to a card that reads: Original Jewelry by Frances H. Boothby, then Art Shop Munson - Williams - Proctor Institute, then Utica, New York without a zip code making this pre 1960's.
The original box also has the Art Shop info sticker. The mark of "fhb" could be under the screw back findings which are marked Sterling and are identical to others on FHB earrings...

Composed of a trapezoidal enamel center of a red-orange and black mottled design, within a pierced cast sterling frame of geometric designs. The frame is of irregular width and is enhanced with oxidation. The C-clasp is secure; the matte-finish back is marked ”STG. SIL,” usually attributed to Australia or New Zealand, with the unidentified maker’s mark, possibly FM. The piece measures 1 ¾ inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide. Weight: 13.3 grams
One-of-a-kind hand made crystal and sterling modernist signed ring by Catanzaro, c.1960's. She passed away last year. Signed "CATANZARO", the triangular-shaped crystal measures 7/8" by 3/4" by 7/8". This sterling silver bracelet features six handmade panels constructed of four horizontal bands of sterling. The top band is plain and gilded, and is applied to the second band with a textured surface. The third band is decorated with an applied abstract line of silver with three tiny silver beads, and is attached to a fourth undecorated band. The back of each panel is signed D.K. and 925; the panels are connected by scored hinges. The fold-over clasp is very secure and quite tight-fitting...

A vintage modernist pendant in brass with a design of copper and sterling by the noted jeweler, Ed Wiener. Measures 2" across. Signed Ed Wiener on the back. Has a large bale so will accommodate a thick chain or neck ring. Has some tarnish. Very cool design.
Composed of two rectangular layers of sterling silver, top one curved and with a cutout comma-shaped design exposing a highly oxidized interior. The ring is marked sterling and has Joseph Skinger’s script signature mark. Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. I am told by Carol Skinger, Joe's daughter, that the design is known as 'Mountain Shadow' and was produced as choker necklaces, bracelets and pins...

An organic mid century modern ring by the American studio jeweler, Paul Miller. This ring, executed in sterling silver with an Opal cabochon, is currently a size 8 1/2 and can be adjusted up or down because of the open back. Marked Paul Miller, Sterling on the inside. Opal measures 5/8" long and 3/8" across. Has a little tarnish and a few minor surface scratches. Very fine example of his work.
Unusual sterling ring featuring a gemstone quality tiger-eye, which shows incredible fire and graining. The impressive setting holds the large stone, which measures 1 6/8" x 1", high above the finger. Signed "Pinegem Sterling." Approximately size 7. Very good vintage condition with a few minor scuffs to the stone which are only noticeable upon close inspection.

This silver pendant has a delicate, organic quality enhanced by dark-green enameled discs and small orbs that read as stylized buds or sprouts. The silver frame could be sterling, and is coated in some sort of translucent acrylic lacquer. The pendant is unmarked, but definitely hand made. It measures about 1 1/2 inches long by 1 inch wide.
