A museum quality oval pendant signed Benevidez (Johnny) and Tim Yazzie Sterling. Possibly a piece by both men who are Santo Domingo/Navajo artists. The Tim Yazzie mark is not typical however if one searches the web, one can find similar pieces created by both men. Silver overlay designs highlight the intricately cut lapis,onyx and turquoise stones. A solid pendant, it measures 3-1/4 x 1-1/2" and weighs a hefty 49gr. A very fine, large vintage silver knifewing pin with multi stone inlay of spiny oyster, turquoise, jet and mother of pearl, circa 1940. Knifewing represents the Zuni god of war.
