A vintage pair of mid century modernist clip earrings in sterling silver and ironwood by the noted Navajo silversmith, Kenneth Begay who was part of the White Hogan. Four sided with curved edges and ironwood inlay.

They each measure 1 3/8" long and 1" at the widest.

Marked with the impressed KB, White Hogan and Sterling on the back of each earring. Also marked Sterling on the clips.

They are in fine condition with some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish...

These earrings feature simple, classic geometrical designs enhanced with oxidation that is reminiscent of Southwest design. The earrings are not marked, but test for sterling silver; the screw backs are marked sterling. The surface exhibits a warm, aged patina. A very charming, small collection of two pair of earrings and a belt buckle by Navajo Kenneth Begay created when he was working at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, Arizona. The pieces came with the original tag from the White Hogan Shop and has a script inscription added on from the owner passing on the pieces to a loved one. This Navajo squash blossom is made of heavy sterling and with expert craftsmanship. It is signed as shown by YH. The long bead is 1.5in. long and the disk beads are 5/8th of an inch tall. I purchased this in the 70's and it has been in my collection ever since and hardly worn. The beads are silky smooth sterling and weighs 172.5 grams. The length is a luxurious 30in. long. Strung on strong chain and in perfect condition, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

This watch is great. It is flanked with 2 decorative, sterling silver, applied Kokopelli characters on a textured background. The diameter of the face is 1 1/8". The watch tips measure 1 1/4" x 1 1/8" (at widest) and taper down to 7/8". Each tip is marked Sterling and has a maker's mark VVVV with under it VV. The watch has a decorative, stainless steel expansion band, as well as a stainless steel back. It has a hand-winding, mechanical watch movement.

A Navajo green turquoise sterling silver ring circa 1970s. This vintage size 4 ring has with a natural green turquoise stone. The ring measures 1-1/4" x 1", the stone has deep forest green, light green and a touch of blue green areas. The silver is worked with rope twists and a tooled leaf. This elegant ring is stamped 925which apparently was done by the jeweller after sizing it...

A signed sterling green turquoise cross by Evelyn Anderson who worked for the Atkinson Trading Company. The necklace is not original to the piece and has some darkening in areas that is difficult to polish. The cross is marked E.A. Sterling and measures 3" x 4"; the 24" necklace is unmarked. A similar piece can be found in "Skystone and Silver ~ The Collector's Book of Southwest Indian Jewelry".

This moonstone necklace and/or choker has great detail, with foliate accents. It sits on the neck very nicely, with its style. It is sterling silver with lovely, moonstone cabochons surrounded by applied leaves. It is a Navajo / Native American / South Western piece. The chain is 15 1/2 long. The back is marked STERLING with the maker's mark clearly show a D. The other letter is cut off (see pics). It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

This vintage sterling cuff bracelet is unsigned but believed to be Pueblo, or possibly Hopi or Navajo. So, not sure of its origin but I think the design is notable. Measuring 5 7/8” around in the inside, plus an additional 1 1/4" opening, it is 1 3/8" wide and weighs 56 grams. Fine original condition, a lovely patina and a great looking, very wearable bracelet.

DESCRIPTION: Late 1900s, a fine sterling pendant with a cut-out flourish on the pendant plate and with a large, colorful calsilica stone, also called "rainbow calsilica," this one reflecting the painted colors of a Southwestern mountain desert at sunset.
