Spectacular design in this wide, bold silver overlay bracelet by Hopi Manuel Hoyungowa ( 1953-2011) who was an active silversmith since the 1970's having learned from Preston Monongye. The bracelet measures 5 1/2" around in the inside with an additional 1 1/4" opening. It is 1 7/8" wide and weighs a solid 84 grams. It in fine original condition and hallmarked as shown. Navajo silversmith Kenneth Begay (1913-1977) was an early innovator and leader in Navajo modern jewelry design. He is known for his clean, bold, modern designs while still influenced by his traditional background. This pair of sterling cuff bracelets are a perfect example. One of the bracelets measures 5 1/8" around in the inside with a 1 1/2" opening and the other measures 5" around in the inside with a 1 1/2" opening. A signed sterling green turquoise cross by Evelyn Anderson who worked for the Atkinson Trading Company. The necklace is not original to the piece and has some darkening in areas that is difficult to polish. The cross is marked E.A. Sterling and measures 3" x 4"; the 24" necklace is unmarked. Fabulous sterling tufa cast bolo by Mission/Hopi Preston Monongye ( 1927-87 ). The central piece features a mythical being holding a staff and carrying what appears to be an abstract bundle that is comprised of ebony, turquoise and bone. A very fine, large vintage silver knifewing pin with multi stone inlay of spiny oyster, turquoise, jet and mother of pearl, circa 1940. Knifewing represents the Zuni god of war. This symbol was worn by warriors to protect them in battle, but also represents courage, honor, wisdom and strength. The pin measures 3 1/8" by 2 3/4" and weighs 35 grams. It is in fine original condition. The stones are free of chips or cracks. A beautiful example of vintage Zuni lapidary work.

A museum quality oval pendant signed Benevidez (Johnny) and Tim Yazzie Sterling. Possibly a piece by both men who are Santo Domingo/Navajo artists. The Tim Yazzie mark is not typical however if one searches the web, one can find similar pieces created by both men. This watch is great. It is flanked with 2 decorative, sterling silver, applied Kokopelli characters on a textured background. The diameter of the face is 1 1/8". The watch tips measure 1 1/4" x 1 1/8" (at widest) and taper down to 7/8". Each tip is marked Sterling and has a maker's mark VVVV with under it VV. The watch has a decorative, stainless steel expansion band, as well as a stainless steel back. It has a hand-winding, mechanical watch movement.

A very good set of silver and turquoise watch tips by noted Navajo silversmith Benson Boyd. Each tip is decorated with “chip inlay” of turquoise accented with punched decoration. Chip inlay is typical of Boyd’s work. The tips are attached to a stainless steel band with a deployment clasp. Each tip is stamped with Boyd’s mark. The tips were originally purchased in Denver in 1976.
