(The colors in the photographs may be deceptive, depending on your computer monitor). This interesting fob is the setting for a sterling coin. It is a Prussian 2 Mark coin. On one side is the face of Friedrich (presumably) and his wife, a Maltese cross, and the words “FRIEDRICH * I * 1701 * WILHELM * II * 1901”; on the other side is an eagle with a crown above, and “DEUTSCHES REICH 1901 ZWEI MARK”. The rest is white metal. The swivel clasp has a mark, which looks like a plow. We haven’t been able to track it down...

Pair of high content silver, pre-owned, Turkmen forearm cuffs, with inset carnelians. Very heavy, these are 310 grams each or 620 grams total. An attractive 800 silver and Baltic amber ring, the oval cabochon amber in a silver setting reminiscent of Jensen’s designs from the 1930s. The amber is natural has not been quench-crackled. The back of the shank is signed with an unidentified maker’s mark and has Polish hallmarks for 800 silver.

These delicate-looking, lacy links are actually form quite a substantial chain necklace. The links have a clever twist, but still lie nicely when worn. A jump ring at the end bears largely illegible marks, but one appears to have a European shape. The chain tests strongly for silver, with a content of at least .800. A nice revival piece imitating the late Victorian Scottish agate pins. The agates are securely set in etched sterling silver. The top features a pierced setting mounted with a glass half-bead in the same dark honey color of the original Scottish cairngorms. The pin has a rollover clasp that probably replaced the original C-clasp. The pin stem appears to be original. The pin is unmarked, but tests as sterling silver. This late 19th century sterling silver bar pin features suspended medallions of classical profiles and other similar elements, exemplifying the iconic design of George W. Shiebler of New York.
