Impressive Jugendstil silver brooch with a cabochon cut garnet. Danish, c 1900- 1905, designed just before the Skonvirke period. Marked C.S. for C. Sorensen in Copenhagen (1893-1937) and 830 for the silver content. Width "1 ¾ / 4.8 cm. Condition: fine.

Elegant silver filigree brooch, a Norwegian solje. Less exuberant in style than most filigree solje brooches, without any enamel or gilt - just two shimmering roundels and the traditional chains holding the little pendant ornaments. Silver standard mark 830S and the pin hook with the three crowns of the Swedish hallmark – the brooch was made around 1900 when Sweden and Norway were united (the union was dissolved in 1905). Width "1 ½ / 3.7 and height "2/ 5.3 cm. Condition: fine.

Very early sterling compact designed by HARALD NIELSEN(1892-1977) for GEORG JENSEN, Denmark, c.1920. Has decorative applied silver dolphin at top center. Empty on the inside so can be used as a pill box, it measures 2 1/2" in diameter by 1/2" thick. A Fine Natural Baltic Amber necklace made from amber found on the the North Sea coast of Jutland, the west coast of Denmark. Opaque egg yolk / butterscotch colouring with a few smaller beads more redish colour. Olive shape beads. Largest bead 25 mm to the smallest 6 mm. Length: 55 cm. Weight: 34 g From around 1930. This delicate, charming silver gilt bar pin features lavender guilloche enamel work surrounded by a thin border of black enamel and a milligrain-like textured edge. Three circles of white enamel grace each end of the pin. The pin bears the mark of Marius Hammer, Bergen, Norway (1847-1927), and dates to the early 20th century. The original C-clasp has been expertly replaced; the piece retains its original pin stem. It measures 1 5/8 inches long by a little over ¼ inch wide at the center.

A sterling silver brooch #82, originally designed by Georg Jensen himself before 1910. Based on the hallmarks shown on this example it was produced between 1910-25.

Measures about 1 3/4" in diameter. Marked GI in a dotted circle, Denmark, and style #82 C. There is another dotted circle that is worn in the center. May have had the GI 830S mark.

In fine condition with some surface scratches and a warm patina.

Lovely sterling silver brooch worked in soft white guilloche enamel and featuring a painted enamel bouquet of blue gentians. The workmanship is very fine. The back is marked "S925S" and retains the original c-clasp which indicates an early date.

A rare, delicately hammered dress clip by the well known Danish silversmith, Erik Magnussen. After working at Gorham and having his own shops in Chicago and New York, he opened a shop in Hollywood and designed for the stars. Returned to Denmark in 1939. This clip measures 1 3/4" long and 1 3/8" across. Marked with the conjoined EM monogram, Sterling, ERIK M. and Hollywood. Spring in clips still holds. Could be converted to a brooch or worn on a chain or neck ring as is...

This lovely, Scandinavian, sterling silver pin is by the Danish silversmith Evald Nielsen. It is marked "EN" (maker's mark), "STERLING SILVER 925." It has a C-catch and measures 1 1/8" x 1". It is in excellent condition.
