Pretty Victorian sterling silver pin decorated with a floral appliqué. The floral design has realistic engraved details. These pins were very popular in the late Victorian period and were made in many different variations, often with a name worked into the design. The back is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1890-91, and has the maker’s mark “G.A.R.”.

A distinctive, eclectic design of various size rings and impressed floral elements, probably ca. 1920. The chain tests strongly as sterling silver and is highly patinated, resembling gunmetal. It is unmarked and does not have a clasp. Doubled, the chain measures 16 ½ inches long. Weight: 58.9 grams

A delightful Imperial Austrian silver brooch set with three reverse-carved Essex crystals by the Imperial jeweler Georg Adam Scheid. The domed pin is finely engraved in a basket-weave motif and is pierced by three Essex crystals, each depicting a lap dog, perhaps a Pekingese. The dogs are well carved and colored, with tiny blue bows under their chins. The crystals never had a mother-of-pearl backing like those produced in England and France...

A 19th century Scottish sterling silver banded agate pebble buckle brooch pin. From the early to mid-Victorian era, this large and dramatic pin measures 2-7/8 x 2-1/2". It has wonderfully striped and figured grey and white banded agate fitted stones with silver dividers and it has finely hand engraved and tooled decoration including a buckle, inner edge, decorated outer rim and an engraved pierced silver top. It has the original c-clasp and a loop for a safety chain and safety pin (absent)...

A wonderful figural fob seal depicting England’s patron St. George defeating the dragon. The design is worked primarily in silver, but the horse’s bridle, the dragon’s dorsal ridge and the saint’s spear and shield are worked in yellow gold. The gold base encloses a flat malachite that was never engraved. Tested and guaranteed sterling silver and 18K gold.

Lovely orange banded agate dimensional circle brooch with silver construction on back. The pin measures 1 3/8" in diameter and is asymmetrical in design. Natural Bohemian garnets are featured in this antique pin. Two round elements are made up of three tiers of rich red rose-cut garnets. Each garnet circle is surrounded by a row of tiny rose-cut garnets. Suspended from these elements are three droppers featuring more garnets, round and marquise in shape. These droppers add eye-catching motion to the piece when it is worn. All of the gems are beautifully prong set. The pin is unmarked but is silver and is 1 ¼” wide...

Very early gold-washed sterling mirror/photo round locket by William B. Kerr Co., Newark, c.1865. Has beautiful defined Victorian design on both sides. One side was meant to hold a photograph and the other, a mirror. The mirror has seen it's day, so two photos are fine. One side has a slight bend(see photo #3). Carved Shell Cameo set in a silver frame with a gold colored rope twist accent. The frame is marked only 800 in an oval and is most likely Italian. The carving is excellent, with highlights of different colors left in the hair. The frame has a pin closure and a moveable bail so it can be worn as a pin or a pendant. The profile of the woman and mark on the frame suggests Victorian era of 1875 - 1880's. Condition is excellent.

This is an antique Scottish silver pebble florette pin that is 2 1/4” in diameter and is heavy and really well made. The stones are MONTROSE grey striped banded agate, carnelian and bloodstone and the center piece is brandy colored cairngorn stone that is hand cut. The setting is really heavy and thick and you can tell this was hand wrought. The stones are arranged in a geometrical pattern fitted into a circular brooch.
