Over the top gorgeous vintage sterling and turquoise cuff bracelet by Frank Patania Sr. The stones are most likely bisbee and the color is spectacular, deep and vivid. Measuring 6" around in the inside with an additional 1 1/4" opening, it is 2" wide and weighs a hefty 129 grams. It is in fine original condition with no chips or cracks to the stones. Completely handmade, this sterling silver pin is formed similar to a stylized sprig of lily-of-the-valley. It also bears an engraved inscription on the back that reads: “Anna F. Davies/The College Settlement of Philadelphia/1898-1941.” Davies was a founder of the settlement movement, and ran this settlement house during those years. The pin is also marked sterling and has a secure safety catch. It measures 3 1/8 inches long by about 1 inch wide. Weight: 19.5 grams

A vintage pair of sterling silver screw back earrings with moonstone cabochons by Antonio Pineda, Taxco.

Measure 3/4" long and 5/8" wide. Marked with the Antonio crown, and an Early Eagle 17 mark. Screw backs hold securely. Have some tarnish.

Natural Bohemian garnets are featured in this antique pin. Two round elements are made up of three tiers of rich red rose-cut garnets. Each garnet circle is surrounded by a row of tiny rose-cut garnets. Suspended from these elements are three droppers featuring more garnets, round and marquise in shape. These droppers add eye-catching motion to the piece when it is worn. All of the gems are beautifully prong set. The pin is unmarked but is silver and is 1 ¼” wide...

This beautiful bracelet consists of 9 decorative, square links. Each, slightly convex, encases a fine filigree, openwork design with applied silver "balls." It is 6 1/2" long x 3/4". The v-spring is marked 830S and it has a concealed box clasp. It is in excellent condition.

Plique-a-jour brass clip with period art deco design, c.1920's. It measures 1 3/4"wide by 3/4" high and is in good condition with some closed cracks(no enamel missing). This ring depicts a climbing snake. It is adjustable in size. The head of the snake is set in abalone. It is marked TAXCO 925, then (hard to read) MEXICO and maker's initials. It also has the Government assay spread eagle mark with a 3 inside.

A 1930s pair of Mexican sterling silver & amethyst owl earrings. These screwback earrings are in the form of owls with natural amethyst cabochon cut stones. These 1" x 3/4" earrings are stamped MADE IN MEXICO and STERLING, and they weigh 12.0 grams. They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Ca 1930 A silver gilt set by German designer, Theodor Fahrner with twisted wire, granulation and small marcasites. Superb detail. The pendant on the necklace is not original to the piece, however all pieces are marked with the TF Fahrner logo, 925. The 15" necklace is also marked ORIGINAL FAHRNER.Pendant measures 1-1/2", screwback earrings, 1" x 1-1/2".

This ring is a size 11. It is sterling silver with an onyx "center." It has interesting decor on each side (of the band). It is marked STER with a maker's mark of which I am not familiar (maybe an R with a dot in the middle). I believe it is American made: c. 1950's. It is solid with good heft and is in excellent condition.

This is a wonderfully executed figural ring depicting a man in a turban with snakes on either side, made of sterling silver and decorated by a 5 millimeter round fire opal. The hall mark is a bell within a bell. The ring is size 6 1/4 and it can be sized.

A picture is worth a thousand words, they say, and in preparing to offer this fantastic find of mine, I am putting my trust in popular wisdom. When one has been dealing in vintage Mexican silver jewelry for as long a time as I have, one tends to hear that little "devil" in one's ear louder and louder, claiming that there is nothing new or exciting left to be encountered. Thankfully though, life and the old maestros of Taxco still keep some aces hidden up their sleeve...

A rare necklace and matching earrings made of alternating Sterling Silver and Rosewood tubes by William Spratling from Taxco. The marks on this set date them to his Third Design Period: 1951 - 1967.

Necklace measures 17 1/4" long. Marked on the back of the box clasp with the script WS and Eagle #30. Earrings measure 1" long. Marked on the back of one earring with the Script WS and with the Eagle #30 on the back of the other.

The clasp on the necklace snaps securely...

A pair of geometric modernist sterling silver bangles, by Danish silversmith Helge Arthur Bang. Bang worked only for a short period (1962-73) and his works are rare. Makers’ mark HE BA, Sterling 925 S and Swedish import marks (three crowns and S), weight 17 grams. Inner diameter "2 ½/ 6,5 cm. Condition: fine.
