Early sterling bolo with Mayan design on a brown leather braided thong with the fabulous cactus-design ends, Mexico, c.1942. Hand made of heavy gauge silver, the bolo(1 1/8" long by 1 1/4" wide) shows a framed Mayan figure with a recessed oxydized background highlighting the figure. Unusual and very large arts & crafts sterling/moonstones/garnets double pin, c.1910. Made of very heavy gauge silver(90 grams) these two hand made designs with applied decorative silver work are attached with a double silver chain. Marked "STERLING", they are are in excellent condition. The dimensional left hand piece measures 3 3/4" long by 1 3/8" wide. The right hand piece is 3" long by 1 5/8" wide. Each has one moonstone and garnet. One of a kind - I've never seen work like this before...

They each have five curved and crimped petals with a 4-pronged ruby(5 points each) between each petal and a center turquoise stone. There are a total of 10 rubies.
