Composed of ten thick circle links, this is a truly remarkable piece. It feels as good on the wrist as it looks, heavy and luxurious, fluid and flexible. Closure is a tight and secure tongue in box. Safety chain is original to the piece.

Fun and perfect for this summer - especially if you decide to stay away from beaches! - this mod sterling silver "fish with air bubble" necklace by Los Castillo comes out of the workshop's "onix negro" line of jewelry. I find this technique fascinating - it poses a big challenge to the lapidary's and silversmith's abilities as the onyx slab has to be carved out precisely to the dimensions of the sterling inlay that will be set in it...

Amazing very big antique circa 1910 leaf form brooch in sterling silver with a large egg yolk butterscotch Baltic amber stone in a bezel setting. With a C clasp. Not marked but tests positive for sterling silver. Fabulous Arts & Crafts design with a beautiful dimensional textured hammered finish. Substantial at 51 grams. This handsome pin is simple yet smart, hand wrought with incised details. It is formed as a jagged-edge leaf and bears the mark of Bob Ford, Canada; it is also marked handmade. Ford was a founding member in 1946 of the Ontario Metal Arts Guild, according to an internet source. The pin tests as sterling although it is not marked for silver content. It measures 1 ¾ inches long by 1 ½ inches wide. Weight: 6.3 grams

Circa mid-century, this pair of amethyst bar earrings are stunning in every way. While I've seen this design by Antonio in a ring, I've not seen another pair of earrings quite like these, and believe them to be quite rare. You can also wear each earring as a ring. They look amazing either way.

A beautiful sterling and turquoise bracelet by Frank Patania Sr. This is a unique design with a center medallion featuring three saw tooth bezel set turquoise. The cuff sides have texturing in the middle, topped with silver dots. Measuring 5 1/2" around in the inside with an additional 1 1/4" opening , it is 1 1/8" wide and weighs 61 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. Frank Patania Sr. came to Santa Fe, N.M. from Italy and opened The Thunderbird Shop in 1927...

Silver dragon head pin copying that of William Spratling by Serafin Moctezuma, Mexico, c.1950's. Much to the annoyance of Spratling, Moctezuma copied his designs, including the mark "SM", which when turned upside down, looks like a stylized WS, similar to that of Spratling. This great little Mayan dragon head, stands on its own and is quite charming. The pin measures 1 3/8" long by 1" wide. It is signed "980 SM TAXCO" and is in excellent condition...

This Adolph Katz Coro Craft sterling 'queen bees' has yellow enameling with brown and black shading and rhinestones. It is 2 13/16" x 1 1/2". It is Pat No 1798867 circa 1942.

Vintage sterling silver and copper pin or brooch designed and signed (1940's) by American and Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling(1900-67). Pin measures 3 3/8" across. Fully hallmarked with Spratling's 1940 marks. Beautiful condition with an excellent patina. No dents or dings. Pin and lock work perfectly. Matching earrings also available. Big, bold and beautiful sterling rock crystal and black enamel ring designed by Karl Gustav Hansen for Hans Hansen Denmark. The ring is a size 6 1/2 and it plain in the back so can be sized. The face of the ring measures 1/2" by 1/2". It also sits 1/2" high above the finger. Fine original condition. Signed as shown. This ring is a stunner !

Unsigned unmarked yet tested bright red, may be higher than sterling silver and could be an Arts Crafts, Art Deco or Modernist Studio Ring with 3/4" bezel set Carnelian looking cab at size 6 3/4 yet your jeweler could resize.

Fantastic and rare sterling silver and turquoise cuff bracelet designed and signed in the 1950's by Hopi native american artist Preston Monongye(1927-87). 1 1/2 inches wide. The inside of the cuff measures 5 1/2" from end to end. The gap opening is 1 1/2" for a total wearable length of 6 3/4 to 7 inches. This sterling silver tufa cast bracelet weighs 114 grams or 4.0 oz. Fully hallmarked. The design features 4 rectangular turquoise stones...

A long necklace with silver and copper links and a central warrior shaped pendant in mixed metals attributed to Los Castillo.

The chain measures 24" long and has a hook clasp. The central pendant is made from married silver, copper, and brass metals and has an inlay of some kind of green stone. It measures 4" long and 1 3/4" at the widest.

Marked Hecho en Mexico on the reverse which is brass. Has some surface scratches and shows a little wear. We did not polish it...

Circa mid-century, this is a very rarely seen design by Antonio Pineda. Museum quality, this piece is shown in Gobi Stromberg's Silver Seduction : The Art of Mexican Modernist Antonio Pineda, p.141. It's a heavy wide bracelet which is intertwined with two designs. One is Pre-Columbian, and the other is said to have been inspired by the cave drawings of Lascaux. Hinged on one side, this piece swings open wide to easily fit over the wrist, and clasps with a tight and perfect tongue in box. ...

A modernist sterling silver pendant or brooch with a stylized floral design by noted Mexican silversmith, Carmen Beckmann. Has three raised stamens with onyx cabochons and three sterling smaller ones in the center. This piece is marked Sterling Beckmann and Mexico on the back.
