A vintage c1930s-40s Mexican sterling silver double or sweater pin with two donkeys joined by a chain. They measure 2-3/4" x 1-1/4" and 2" x 1-1/8"; the brass chain is 1" long. Each donkey features a large claw-set natural malachite cabochon stone and each pin has a safety catch. It weighs 26.6 grams, it is stamped MEXICO SILVER with a joined NF maker's mark, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Glowing with the patina of time that adds precious depth to recesses of the design, this vintage Los Castillo repousse brooch has a more romantic air about it than most of their work. I love the combination of twists and twirls with the stylized "trumpet" flowers at the top and even though the elements which have been called into service here are definitely floral, I can't stop seeing the eyes of a night owl staring back at me in wise contemplation...

A pair of vintage sterling silver gilt cuff links with blue, yellow, and teal enamel by David Andersen, as part of the Four Seasons series. We believe this is 'Spring', designed by Thorbjorn Lie-Jorgensen in 1959 .

Elegant peaked link necklace in 940 silver by Mexican silversmith Hector Aguilar. This necklace is a choker style that sits perfectly on the neck and terminates with a hook closure. It is 14 1/2" end to end and the links are 1" wide and 7/8" long. Surprising hefty, it weighs 123 grams and is in fine original condition. Signed with the 1940-48 Aguilar hallmark as shown. A very wearable and beautiful piece.
Modernism at it's best, this 970 silver & inlaid shell bracelet was designed & signed c. 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). Measuring 1 1/2" high at the front with a wearable interior length of 6 3/4", the bracelet weighs 86 grams & is in beautiful condition. The slide in clasp & safety chain are tight & secure. A vintage sterling silver modernist pendant by the Danish silversmith Johannes Larsen, (Skaelskor active 1977-1984).
Has four dangles suspended from a geometric central pendant. The pendant is marked Sterling and J.La. It measures 2 1/2" across and 1 1/4" high. Chain measures 24" long and has a secure spring clasp. The clasp is marked Sterling with some other hallmarks that are too tiny to read. Has minor surface scratches.
Sleek modernist design.
An organic mid century modern brooch by the American studio jeweler, Harry Osaki (1904-1985), who worked in Pasadena, California. Reminds us of a stylized fish.
This brooch, executed in sterling silver with an oval turquoise colored stone, measures 2 7/8" long and 1 1/2" at the widest.
Marked Osaki, Hand-Wrought and Sterling on the back.
Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Has a little tarnish and a few minor surface scratches.

Unusual ring featuring textured sterling silver holding a large Rhodonite sphere. The natural stone is pink with dramatic black veining. The design has a trippy organic feel. The stone is quite fine, and probably originated in South Africa. The ring itself is probably American, circa 1970s. The table measures 1.25" by 1", giving this ring a very large presence. Size 5.5. Unsigned. In excellent condition with a nice patina.

Vintage sterling clip earrings with intricately carved black onyx by Brazilian jeweler Burle Marx in the "forma livre" (free form) style. Burle Marx was particularly known for his use of large gemstones, often fashioned by carving or tumbling rather than being faceted, a technique he invented in 1948. An amazing sterling French Cuff Bracelet by the well known Arizona modernist silversmith, H. Fred Skaggs. Has three large jewels in varying shades of purple and pink and one small purple stone on the other end. Not sure if they are stones or art glass. May be amethyst.
