A nicely executed charcoal drawing of a nude young woman, 20" by 14" inside the mat, 31" by 25" as framed in black wood, signed at lower right and dated there "12. V. 2006". The handwriting appears to be European---perhaps, I am thinking, Greek. There is a hint of pale color in the face area. Condition is excellent. A few insects managed to get in under the glass at lower left margin, where they expired.

An original botanical watercolor drawing of unknown age, apparently unsigned, featuring leaves and insects, one likely a wasp or similar. The work is very clean and ready for the wall. Some slight brownish toning of the paper seems to be accentuated by the camera; it does not appear that way to the naked eye. The attention paid to detail, by the artist, is impressive. This is one of those scarce original works: a pencil drawing of a bird's head---likely a gull, though, possibly a young eagle. Measuring 3" by 5 1/2" (6 1/2" by 8 3/4" in simple frame) the work on a scrap of lined notebook paper is signed in the vertical style, in longhand, a...

**ONE OF SEVERAL WORKS BY THE ARTIST IN MY SHOP, all acquired at the same time and place**, this is a pencil drawing on paper, 11 1/4" by 9" as framed, signed at lower left with the initials H.L. and dated there "62". HARRY LIEBERMAN (1876-1983) was a Polish-born, long-lived artist who didn't begin his artistic career until late in life. Lieberman had been preparing for the rabbinate but emigrated to the United States in 1906 when nearly thirty (some give his date of birth as 1880 rather than 18...

**PAIR** of framed original drawings in charcoal, with some color as well, the larger 22" by 14 1/2" inside the mat, the smaller 17 1/4" by 12 1/2" inside the mat, both signed (the smaller one signed twice), by the well listed, important Art Deco artist and sculptor BORIS LOVET-LORSKI (1894-1973). I would prefer to sell these as a pair but will consider selling them individually. Lovet-Lorski is known primarily for his sculptures in stone and bronze, a pair of bronze horse examples having hamm...
