The drawing is beautifully executed by a sure hand, in what appears to be oil crayon or similar medium. I don't see a listing for an artist by this name so will offer this on its decorative merits. Condition is excellent. This colorful, vigorous drawing will look great in a dining area or large kitchen.

Heavy pencil on paper drawing, 6" by 15", unframed, signed at lower center and dated there '91, (see another very similar drawing I have listed), by the noted contemporary sculptor, ceramicist, designer and painter PETER SHIRE (1947-). An accomplished drawing in pastel, 16" by 31 1/2" (22" by 38" in present framing), signed on the reverse by local Los Angeles artist Julie Belnick (1957-), and dated there 1989. The strange, surrealistic, stark modernist scene is of two brooms leaning against several walls dividing an otherwise empty space. A silvery gray tone dominates, with some subtle yellow mixed in, resulting in an elegant and mysterious work. Belnick is a Southern California artist with an exhibition history...
Charcoal drawing on paper laid on thin board, 28" by 38", unframed, signed at lower right "McBride". I am not familiar with the apparently unlisted artist might be but he or she was talented and possibly familiar with the San Francisco School/California School, Northern California School of art---artists like David Park, Nathan Oliveira, Elmer Bischoff and Manuel Neri. The haunting face especially reminds me of some of these esteemed artists' works...
Crayon on paper drawing of red tulips in a glass vase, 14 3/4" by 10 3/4" (18 1/2" by 14" in simple wood strip frame), signed at lower right with monogram or conjoined initials, and dated there 4-5-83. Something about the work reminds of David Hockney, but this artist is unidentified. I believe it is of European origin but cannot be certain of that. There is some writing in pencil on the reverse, possibly in a foreign language, but it is hard to decipher...
This is a fine drawing on heavy paper, the subject a young woman, in mixed media including pencil, red chalk, wash, and some white gouache for highlights, signed at lower right only with conjoined initials that could be "TH" or some variant of that. Below her portrait is a sensitively rendered pencil sketch of a hand and forearm, beautifully drawn...
William David Hanna was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on August 31st, 1941. The youngest of twelve children in a working-class home on the city’s North Side, Hanna demonstrated an unusual interest in antiques and historical sites as a child and spent much of his free time sketching. Eager to make his own way in the world and with money scarce at home at the age of eleven Hanna was working long hours after school as a gas station attendant...
