This is an oil on board painting of a small house in a forest landscape, apparently unsigned, in the general tradition of the Hudson River School, 13 1/2" by 21 1/2" plus gold framing about 1 1/2" on a side. There's a label on the reverse of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, 37th Annual Exhibition with the title, and artist's address. The painting has a strong WPA feeling to it...

I do not see any listings for this artist, who obviously had a solid command of painting. The work was likely created circa 1960's. There is a small loss at upper left, otherwise it is in excellent condition. The frame is likely older, dating perhaps to the 1940's or 1950's, and it is itself interesting and of value.

Very good original and unrestored condition

Impressionist painting signed at lower right with conjoined initials "MP", unframed, 24" by 18", the subject three female black dancers, two wearing festive hats. There is considerable energy in the scene and the stylized figures are by a trained hand. The painting likely dates to the 1960's or possibly 1950's. There are some light abrasions at lower left, a flaked area near the extreme lower edge there and another small edge loss at top, and light overall soiling.

Oil on canvas painting of a desert southwestern landscape complete with saguaro cactus, unframed, 16" by 20", signed at lower right "Robert Perkins". I do not see a listing by this name so offer the painting on its decorative values. It is in fair condition, with soiling, stretcher bar show-through/uneven canvas, and two very small punctures at sky on right in a cloud at a few inches above the signature. If you like the painting you could hang it as-is, or you could invest money to fix it up.
