Oil on Masonite panel painting of a thicket of trees in the snow, 16" by 12", 19 1/4" by 15 1/2" framed, signed at lower left by artist S C Swiderski and dated there '86 with copyright symbol. The bare trees are accompanied by a lone pine or spruce which gives a bit of green color to an otherwise silvery white/blue palette. An American impressionist coastal seascape painting on the rough side of a Masonite panel, 12" by 16" (19" by 22 1/2" in quality gold frame), signed at lower right by artist Erna Gruenbaum. Oddly, considering the quality, there is no listing of an artist by this name. The painting probably dates to the 1950's or thereabouts. The frame has very light wear but retains its value.

Classic saguaro type cactus in a yellow pot, set on a gray stone patio, against a bright blue background, measuring 14" by 11", unframed, apparently unsigned. The work is very whimsical and the artist has a cheery touch. A great addition to your Southwestern interior. Excellent condition. There might be a signature on the reverse but it is crossed out and hard to decipher----might read "XXXXX Barsh".

A classic old landscape with figures, old structures and feathery trees, somewhat in the Old Master tradition, but created in the mid 19th century, likely in New York, by an unknown yet obviously accomplished artist. A nicely painted contemporary work on canvas, unsigned, 12" by 16", unframed, featuring a landscape of trees with early autumnal colors showing. The piece is in excellent condition. Needs a frame which should be easy/economical as the size is a "standard" size. The anonymous artist has created a very pleasing work; an excellent understanding of both impressionist theory as well as light and color is evident.
