Fruge painted mostly watercolors and was a familiar and beloved part of the Jackson Square tourist scene in New Orleans for decades. He painted mainly French Quarter scenes but also on occasion works such as bayou swamp landscape...

Beautifully executed watercolor signed at lower left "DAVIES", of a male mallard in flight above a tawny field. Measurements 4 3/8" by 6 7/8" (11 3/8" by 13 1/2" as framed). I see there are a few listed Davies artists but am not sure that this is one of them. If you like wildlife and sporting art or are a member of Ducks Unlimited, you will like this little painting! .

The work has been faded by sunlight over the years yet remains interesting. Measurements are 9" by 8 1/2" (15 1/2" by 15" in simple wood frame, which has a piece missing at upper extreme left corner). There are reflections at top of several images. Drawing is glued to a black backing sheet at top only (not fully "laid down"). E

This bird (Penquin?) painted in ink on paper and dated 1970s, signed Joong-Kwang and a red sealed with Joong-Kwang in Korean. It’s in very good condition, and measures 68cm x 44cm (26 3/4” x 17 1/4”) painting only..

This appears to be an original painting on silk, circa 1960's or 1970's, 15" by 17 1/4" framed, Chinese calligraphy and red seal at left. I say "appears" because there is a Windsor Art Products label on the reverse, suggesting this would be a print or multiple of some type. Having examined it very closely, however, it does still look to me like original work, and not a silkscreen. I believe that original work was sold by Windsor, it having paid artists to create art in bulk...
