Dorsey Potter Tyson 1891-1969 American This is a very fine original hand colored drypoint etching by American artist Dorsey Potter Tyson. The title is: Dragon Boat Festival, this etching was created and printed in 1929 in an edition of 100, this one is numbered as 42/100. This pencil signed etching measures an image of 11 7/8X9 7/8 inches. It is nicely framed in an orientalist frame with french matting.

This large print is an etching on paper in dark brown ink, and a heavily inked example at that, the subject apparently "Turkish Cemetery", according to a pencil notation in the upper left margin.
