A circa 1930 colorful, beautiful, accomplished woodblock print of a Christmas cactus, by Austrian-born artist HUGO NOSKE (1886-1960). Noske was born in Vienna and was a very talented artist, perhaps best known today for the technically accomplished, wonderful woodblock prints of floral subjects, often specifically cacti or Christmas cacti, on tissue-like Japan paper.
