The print is NOT pencil signed. Munnings is perhaps the pre-eminent painter of all things horses, at least among 20th century artists...

A rarely seen print, featuring the familiar, landmark high bridge over the Arroyo Seco in Pasadena, California, by the well-known California plein air impressionist artist BENJAMIN CHAMBERS BROWN (1865-1942). The lithograph is in rich brown ink on watermarked paper (an "A" with eagle). The sheet measures roughly 13" by 16" (margins irregularly cut, though more than ample) and the printed image 9 3/4" by 13". The print is not pencil signed...

Francis Dodd was born in Wales and trained at the Glasgow School of Art winning the Haldane Scholarship in 1893 enabling him to travel and study in France, Italy and Spain. During WWI he became a portrait war artist producing more than 30 portraits of senior officers...

Mary elizabeth Groom 1903-1958 British/Suffolk Artist This is an original pencil signed and titled wood engraving by British artist Mary Elizabeth Groom. The title is: The Crucifixion, created and printed circa . 1929, it is numbered as 4/30. The image measures 9 1/2X7 1/4 inches. Printed on a thin japan type sheet. Groom was a well known artist and illustrator one of the Suffolk artists. She was also a founding member of the English Wood Engraving Society starting in 1926...

A framed and matted etching possibly of the River Seine. There are water stains along the bottom edge of the mat as well as very light foxing; the print also appears to have light foxing around the corners. Stamped A. Delauney del 8c sc in the lower left corner. The picture measures 5-1/4" x 3-1/2"; the frame, 8" x 9-7/8". Not examined out of the frame.

The image measures 7 1/8 x 15 3/4 inches. J Whatman watermark laid-type paper. Collector's annotations in pencil at the lower edge of the sheet.

Etching on paper, 5 1/2" by 3" inside the innermost mat, (12" by 9" in green and gold mats, as ready for framing--presently unframed), the title of the print "La Rue du Change, Tours", pencil signed at lower right margin by the artist and dated there 1924. Tours is an historical old city of about 135,000 south and west of Paris, considered a gateway to the Loire Valley chateau region. This is a fine impression of the particular print, of which 156 were made...
