Rippling Water, 1920 Frank Benson This is a fine original etching by American artist Frank Benson. This etching is titled: Rippling Water, created and printed in 1920 in an edition of 150. This pencil signed impression measures 9 3/4X7 7/8 inches. The image appears in the Ordeman catalog as image number 174.

From the set of lithographs, Paris dans sa Splenour, published in 1861, this one is titled, “TOUR St. JAQUES – LA BOUCHERIE ET RUE DE RIVOLIE.” The printer and lithographer are shown in details of the lower left and right corners. The image without printing is 9 1/4 by 14 1/8 inches (23.5 x 36 cm), the page 12 ¾ by 18 ½ inches (32.5 x 47 cm).

Condition: some staining, roughness around the margins and some rubbing of the surface...

Harry Shokler 1896-1978 American This is a fine large color screen print by American artist Harry Shokler (1896-1978) The title of this work is Summer Hotel, created in 1945 and printed in an edition of 100. Hand signed and titled in pencil and also signed with pen and ink within the image. This large image measures 14 9/16X18 3/4 inches. Very fine condition. Matted not framed.

Old photo of a seaside Greek temple with Doric columns, 10" by 14" (17" by 20 1/2" in metal framing with mat). I am not a specialist in vintage photography, but this seems to have some age. There is some silvering at lower right. The print might have been created from an old negative with some damage as there are some white spots in the print that are not damage to the print itself----I imagine that this is disturbance on the original negative...

Hand-colored page with an attractive woodcut showing heavily armed Amazons, who must have appeared very alien at the time...

Lable on backing with provenance from C.W. Kraushaar Galleries, NY. Members of the crew aboard the trawler "Guess Again" concentrate on hauling the days catch aboard. The forground figure is "Old Sam" a figure Briscoe used in many of his images...
