This Francisco de Goya etching was published as a frontispiece to the 1922 Delteil edition of "Le Peintre Graveur Illustre". In beautiful original unframed condition.

Lithograph print of two little sisters, printed by Associated American Artists at mid century, signed in pencil at lower right by the popular, listed Sicilian-born artist JEAN CALOGERO (1922-2001). The print, 14" by 9 5/8" (19" by 15" framed), dates likely to the 1950's or 1960's. Calogero's colorful oils of children, and mysterious fantasy scenes including masks and Surrealist elements, are familiar to art lovers. This print has some paper browning but otherwise appears clean.

**ONE OF A NUMBER WORKS BY THE ARTIST IN MY SHOP**, this is an etching on paper print, 8 5/8" by 10 1/2" inside the mat (14 1/4" by 16 1/4" as framed), signed in pencil at lower left by noted western American artist GEORGE ELBERT BURR (1859-1939). At lower right is written the title of the work, "Summer Cloud--Apache Trail--Ariz". This is an original hand-colored, 19th century lithograph print by the iconic American ornithologist and naturalist artist JOHN J. AUDUBON, from the nineteenth century series in the small octavo size. Inside the present mat, dimensions are 6" by 10" (13 1/4" by 17 1/4" as framed). The title is "Clapper Rail or Salt Water Marsh Hen" and this is Plate number 310 in a long series of bird prints in the small octavo size...
