This impressive and substantial necklace with good heft is composed of what appears to be a birdcage-style chain alternating with twisted elements. It is secured by a working box clasp. Fun all the way! Maya's leopard print resin purse, made just for cat lovers. It has a flat back and a generously rounded front. Its chain has dyed fresh water pearls and crystals. Purse is 5 1/2" wide, 5" high and 2" front to back. Chain is 44" end to end.

From our World Handicrafts Collection (Ex-Asia), an interesting hand-made wool prayer rug, probably Persian but it could possibly come from the Caucasus region as well. The rug features a main central medallion in rust colored ground, two minaret motifs towards the top, and geometrical motifs on the borders. The workmanship seems to be a combination of natural mineral pigments and synthetic dyes.
