This contemporary brooch by French designer Pavone is made of galalith (a plastic derived from skim milk!). The little cat just oozes sassy personality and begs to be taken home by a cat lover. Here is a well-made and nicely conceived silver pin by an unknown studio jeweler. The triangular base is impressed with a geometric pattern enhanced by oxidized surfaces of various metallic shades. A convex silver disk is mounted on the panel at a jaunty angle for contrast. The pin has a commercial rollover clasp in good working order. The back bears no mark except for a K in a triangle, most likely a maker's mark. It measures just under 2 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches high by 1/4 inch deep...

A heavy sterling ornate necklace with hand cut garnet, carnelian and peridot beads. Marked 925 India, it weighs 116 grams and is 18-1/4".

A large bangle composed of 63 thin, white metal bangles, each decorated with oxidized and impressed bisecting lines. The thin bangles are entwined so as to lie comfortably on the arm, with a Slinky-like feel despite its heft of about 150 grams. The bracelet has a bit of flexibility for getting it over the hand, but for the most part its interior circumference of about 7 ½ inches is pretty firm. The composite thickness of the bracelet is about 2 inches around. It is unmarked.

From the archive, this 1969 William DeLillo bracelet has clusters of cast gold color metal flowers with rhinestone centers. These are attached to large rhinestone circles. Formed as a pectoral, composed of a molten and forged wire chain and a sizable pendant with three drops. The top of the pendant is set with two cabochon amethysts. The back of the pendant shows unintelligible marks in addition to what appears to be a 925 for silver content; the pendant and chain test definitively for sterling.
