Circa post-1980, this Matl necklace was produced by Ricardo Salas. Ricardo Salas worked with his aunt, Matilde Poulat. After her death in 1960 he continued producing her designs, as well as his own.

Twenty-one amethyst teardrop dangles swing freely from the center seven silver panels, each stone topped with a turquoise cabochon. This is a stunning piece which falls perfectly on the neck, and it's also very flattering.

Chic glam modernist six strand necklace in matte sculpted silvertone metal with blue gray Lucite beads, all wired, with toggle clasp, by French designer Nellie Biche de Bere. C. 1990. Marked BICHE DE BERE. It has a great feature -- one section of three strands is detachable with lobster clasps, to allow it to be worn two different ways. The bottle has a dark violet glass chamber encased in frosted glass with four transparent facets and a teardrop stopper. This contemporary studio-produced ring is distinctive for its flattened form and flared corners. The applied decoration of beading interspersed with a wavy silver wire is enhanced with a highly oxidized background. The top protrudes 5/16 inch above the finger; the sides of the band are curved inward, making the ring quite comfortable to wear. The ring is a size 8. Weight: 5.3 grams

A vintage Japanese 2 section special Kamo Tansu kimono chest made entirely of Kirinoki (Paulownia) and Kuwanoki (Mulberry) wood. The Kiri wood comes from the Aizu region of Japan which is well known for its high quality of Kiri lumber while the handle and trim accents were made of hand carved Kuwa. The wood is very thick and dense while the parts fit so perfectly that the interior of the tansu is nearly air tight keeping the valuable silk kimonos dry...
