This Yves Saint Laurent bracelet is full of fun. Black glass beads intersperse with both solid and filigree gold metal beads attached to three braided silk cords. This three-sided bangle bracelet features a clean, modernist design, with a flattened edge and rounded corners. A bezel-mounted amber-colored glass cabochon is applied to each side. The bracelet is marked .925, with no maker’s mark. The bangle measures a little over 2 5/8 inches at its widest opening; it fits comfortably over a hand that measures 3 1/4 inches wide at the knuckles.

This grape design is sometimes called Moonlight Grapes. An early Georg Jensen design (1920s), it was updated slightly in 2010, including giving individual grapes more heft. There are three especially large ones at the top of the bunch. Designed by Harald Nielsen, it measures 1.5in wide x 2.75in long (4cm x 7cm). I bought it in 2000 and it’s in excellent condition, almost never worn.

These earrings are wonderful madness! They are made of translucent molded resin with painted gold details and wired drop beads. The circular earring back, seen through to the front, acts as a design element. They have a wonderful handmade, Mad Max quality.
