These mirror image Chanel lions have something to growl about. Made of pale gold tone metal they have red oval cabochon eyes and a mane made of paste baguettes. The body of the bracelet is covered in faux turquoise oval cabochons. On the back of each lion's mane are the entwined C's , the Chanel logo, in pave paste. The lion's heads are 7/8" (2.6 cm) across and 3/4" (2.3 cm) deep, and have a black squared stone at the very top. The interior diameter measures 2" (5.5 cm) by 2 1/4" (6.1 cm)...

Gianni Versace's 1991 Pop Art collection with the Andy Warhol prints is considered by most to be the best of his work. (In fact, his sister, Donnatella reprised it---along with the original models--this past season.) The jewelry was basically done for the runway and is very scarce. We were very pleased to get this necklace from the original show. It is a single strand that has a second strand attached mid way on either side. When pulled straight, the necklace measures 19" (48.6 cm)...

The necklace is 19 1/2" (50 cm)long, not including the toggle or the logo tag. The green peppers are 1 1/4" (3.6 cm) x 1" (3 cm); the pea pods are 2 1/4" (6 cm) long. Signed KL and Karl Lagerfeld on either side of the end tag. Several of the necklace links are signed KL, as well...

Offered here is a magnificent Matl necklace created by Ricardo Salas. It is the ultimate statement piece. Nineteen panels in total, each with three amethysts and sixteen turquoise cabochons. I believe this likely dates 1980's. It's signed and hallmarked, hand etched, with "Matl Mexico 925 M. Reg 142073 MS-12". When open, the inner length, not including the clasp, is just shy of 17". Width is 2 1/4". Weight is 217 grams. Collector quality.

The front of the necklace falls 10 1/2" (27cm). It's difficult to measure a width, but on the necklace form it measures 7" (18cm) across. The biggest beads are 3/8'" (1.1cm) in diameter. The back of the necklace is adjustable. It has the GA, Giorgio Armani couture logo. Probably from around 1990, it is in pristine condition.
