A vintage hand painted wartime (disarmed) 17-1/2" mortar bomb with the stamped identification SSE 42 1-1/2 LBT. It has caged fins for stability and it has a an eyehook from which it was suspended from wire for display. It is painted in white, black, red and white and it has the legend "The Brig" in script.
