The Service for 8 is hand painted a rich cobalt blue on a white ground and is of 1st quality. It is signed with the green back stamp and the three wavy lines and number 1084 with a dot under the C dating them to 1962. This is from a large collection that was purchased in Denmark during the early 1960's. It has not been used and all of the items are in excellent condition...

A monumental serving platter in the Cenis pattern by Ridgways. The motif features branches with pineapples, emphasizing hospitality. The condition is very good, yet expect a scratch or two, and some discoloration - but far less than commensurate with age. The platter wobbles, a not uncommon affliction of these older ceramic pieces as they were difficult to make in this size. This superb example dates to 1871, and is back stamped with Ridways Stoke on Trent, Cenis Dimension: 21 1/4" l

These 4-1/8" Danish naturalistic serving tongs are spring loaded and they have a full set of London, England silver import hallmarks for 1923. A Birks sterling silver sauce boat with under tray dated 1946. The sauce boat measures 5" from the edge of the spout to the outer edge of the curved handle and it stands 2-1/4" tall (excluding the handle) on it's four hoof style feet. The boat has the Birks date mark for 1942 while the 5-5/8 x 3-5/8" tray bears a 1946 date stamp...

A Kirk sterling repousse nut or candy footed bowl. This ornate vintage 3-1/4" high and 5" diameter sterling silver footed candy or nut dish is in the Repousse pattern by S. Kirk and Son.
