Written by Esther Stevens Brazer, this is a Memorial (Second) Edition published in 1947 by the Pond-Ekberg Company. The gray linen boards show some wear with creases at the corners, and the gilt pastedown label is smudged. The front free paper is clipped and the pages are uncut. A former library copy that is in good condition. Profusely illustrated. 265 pp.

There are 244 pages filled with black and white illustrations, sketches, color photos of finished products a person might sew, etc. The text teaches everything one would want/need to know about one's sewing machine and about how to sew anything.
