Nearly a century old, this Noritake dessert set contains plates, cups and saucers, coffee pot, creamer, and sugar bowl (no cover). This set was purchased in the US between 1935 and 1937.

This is one of the finest examples of Berndt Friberg's ceramic mastery that I have acquired since dealing from 1984. It has never been in a shop or auction, but has an important provenance and was procured directly from Friberg. It is without any flaws, which is extremely rare for a piece of this size.
