This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Berlin, Germany by KPM, Konigliche Porzellan Manufactor in 1921. There is a date cipher impressed in the porcelain indicating this year. The saucer measures 5 inches and the cup is 2 inches high and 3 ¼ inches in diameter. The porcelain is delicate. It is hand painted with colorful bouquets of flowers in the Meissen style. It has gold trim and gilded accents.
CONDITION: Excellent
Standing on sweeping foot, the blue bowl is decorated in the round with classical figural and objective motifs. Excellent condition save for a couple of stains in the bowl.

Vintage Chinese soapstone small brush rest carved to represent a Taihu scholar’s rock with numerous perforations and crevices. Beautiful Yunnan pink soapstone with wonderful carving, compressed dust on the surface, in great condition. Wonderful object for a scholar’s desk. Length 2.82 inches, height 0.94 inches.
Exquisite small bowl in Aqua Marine blue and iridescent glass, softly triangular with a swirl. Murano, 1950’s, probably by Alfredo Barbini. Width "4/ 10.5 cm, height "2 ½ / 6 cm. Condition: some wear (cf. pics).
Six superbly decorated sectional dinner plates from, France or possibly Italy, Eames era, 1960s. Of lozenge shape, hand painted and glazed in black, lemon yellow, brown and lime green. Width: 9 ¾"/25cm. Condition: restored rim chip to one plate as seen on photo, otherwise fine.
Number 9 in a series of 12 Fornasetti plates commissioned in the 1970’s by Martini & Rossi. Each plate depicts an item in their wine museum in Pessione, in this case the first barrel – Il Primo Tino - used for the fabrication of the famous Martini vermouth. Pessione is a village in northern Italy, not far from Torino. The back of the plate gives a contextual presentation of the plate and has the Fornasetti brush in hand mark. Diameter "9 ¼ / 23.7 cm. Condition: fine.

Two lovely pottery vases by Czech Dux, c 1930 or late 1920’s, the larger vase drop shaped, the smaller one bulbous. Slip glaze decoration of grapes in blue, green and brown over white. Height “11 ½ / 29 cm and “4 / 10.5 cm respectively. Green acorn within triangle mark and DUX to the larger vase, impressed model numbers to both. Condition: minor crackling to glaze of the smaller vase, the larger with a nick to the foot rim.
Kosta "Dark Magic" vase designed and hand-formed by Vicke Lindstrand. Vase stands 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) tall. Very organic form in gray cased glass. Color of vase varies with the angle and intensity of light. Vase does have a 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) scratch on the surface, shown in photos. No other damage. Signed Kosta LH 1605/V. Lindstrand. Circa 1958/59.
